Our Story
Tower House to Bucks Road.
Renegade started in May 2021 on a car boot pitch — a fold-out table, a rail of vintage, and two people who fancied doing things properly. Mum and son, no investors, no focus group.
By July 2021 we had a permanent space on the ground floor of the Tower House on Castle Street. For the first two years Renegade was a pure vintage boutique: unique, sustainably sourced garments from the UK, USA and Europe. We weren't just selling clothes — we were offering an alternative.
In 2024 we moved to a larger space at 78 Bucks Road. Rather than follow the crowd to Strand Street, we backed the shift of indie businesses to the more affordable, creative end of town. Bucks Road gave us footfall, visibility and room to grow — and room for the chair.
Not just a barbers or a vintage store. An ethos, an environment, a vibe.
